After 28 years a new The Laughing Salesman anime will aired in Spring 2017. The Laughing Salesmen, which follows the exploits of a salesman who helps people fill gaps in their souls was originally a manga by the duo Fujiko Fujio. It was published in Comic Sunday from 1969 to 1971. It was then adapted an anime and broadcasted on TBS from 1989 to 1992.
The new anime will feature Tesshō Genda as the main character Moguro Fukuzo. Genda will be replacing the original voice actor Tōru Ōhira who passed away in April 2016. Tesshō Genda is known for dubbing Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Japanese version of his films. The upcoming anime will be titled ‘The Laughing Salesman New, and will be directed by Hirofumi Ogura.
