It’s no secret that Marvel is pretty popular in Japan in the wake of Ironman, The Avengers and the onslaught of Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
Starting on Friday April 7th, there’s going to be a Marvel Exhibit held in Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills Mori Tower. The entrance will be decorated with a 5 meter tall light up Ironman statue. The exhibition which is title Marvel Age of Heroes, will showcase props, characters, art and show the evolution of the Marvel Universe.
In addition to the exhibition there will be an official Marvel shop where various Marvel related figures and other merchandise will be on sale. In case visitors get hungry the local cafeteria will be converted into a Marvel themed Marvel Cafe. Some of the dishes will even be named after Marvel characters like Groot and Rocket Raccoon.
The exhibition will be open from Friday April 7th to Sunday Jun 25th. Tickets will run 1,800 yen for adults at the door, but you can snag them online for 1,500. You can find more info at the official site.
